Extra-Curricular Activities
Extracurricular classes are conducted in the school so that the student can nurture their inborn talents under the able guidance of professionals. At TSPS a student has a plethora of activities to choose from. The extra-curricular classes provide further avenues to enable the students to enhance their artistic skills.
- Physical and Health Education, Art Education and Work Experience are compulsory and are dealt with effectively in the non-curricular area.
These classes are conducted on a regular basis after and during school hours.

Sports and Physical Education
- TSPS recognizes that sport is an essential skill that fosters not only fitness but also important values of team-building, sportsmanship and endurance. Physical Training (PT) is the one class that students from Grade I to Grade V are all look forward to with unbounded enthusiasm, and with good cause. The aspiring sports persons of TSPS get kicking with their Footballs, while the Basketball and Badminton players make a run for their courts. Other popular sports include Cricket, Volleyball and Throw ball. With the introduction of Chess, Table Tennis and Carom as an indoor sport, there truly is a sport for every child. The bell that rings the end of the class is greeted with a unanimous groan as the tired children make their way back to their books.
- TSPS organizes an annual fun filled outbound programme for its pupils to exercise the managerial and leadership skills learnt in class rooms in physically and mentally challenging activities. It improves the student’s flexibility, adaptability to diverse situations and decision making ability
Inter-House Sports Activities
- TSPS encourages variety of inter-house sports activities. The four houses see intense competition.
Athletics is another major event at TSPS. - The various races include the 100meter, 200meter, 400meter and 800meter dashes and the 4x100meter relay. With gritted teeth and flying hair, the students’ try to best their personal records.
